Challenges in Digital Transformation of ToC Business
Platform cannot Support Business
The number of users increased rapidly after it launched a ToC-side APP in early 2016. It was predicted to have 200k users at most throughout the year, but the number reached around 400k by the end of 2016. The server capacity at that time couldn't support so many users.
Poor Response to User Demands
The APP averagely needs 10 iterations each month to meet users’ need for new features, whereas it takes 2 months to respond to and rollout new features with the waterfall development model.
