Urgent Need for New Energy Vehicle Monitoring System
Dongfeng Group urgently need a new platform to collect new energy data and authenticate data in the national regulatory system, so as to establish a sound monitoring system for new energy vehicles.
Challenges in Horizontal Expansion and High-Performance
To collect data about enormous vehicles, the IT architecture should be extremely highly scalable. Data must be reported from Dongfeng to the national regulatory system within 5 seconds. High performance and horizontal scalability are both important.
Pressure of Processing Massive Data
The original platform collected data about 20,000 vehicles, which means 300-400 GB of time-series data are generated every day. The new platform is expected to be competent in processing, storing, indexing, and analyzing scalable data.

Integrated a large data lake upon an scalable, efficient, stable, and open cloud native platform, enabled collection, storage, indexing, retrieval, analysis, and visualization of enormous vehicle data. Also built an agile Dongfeng New Energy Vehicle Monitoring Platform with the platform's microservice and DevOps capabilities.
